Film Fest Director, Adventurer
Sea-born and mountain-bred, I have been blessed with a life of sand-filled eyes,
bruised knees, frost-bitten toes, perpetual bathing suit tan lines, and nails too
short to paint. I am currently based out of Aspen, Colorado. I teach skiing in the
winter, own a consignment gear store, and run an all-female adventure film festival
called No Man’s Land.
I like to think that I live a very full life. My days are full of long runs and steep
descents, dancing atop mountain summits with shiny jewelry, usually incorrect
plant identification, followed by ukulele jam sessions, a light dose of fomo,
trumpet “playing,” ayurvedic cooking, and bunk beds. When we meet, if we
are scarce on conversation, my favorite talking points are ski-mountaineering,
my pink Chuck Taylors, van conversions, and why no one has made an ultra-light
collapsible marimba, yet.
